The Unsaid

Described by Spiral Archive magazine - UK as "...instrumental post punk meets Led Zeppelin"

Spencer - Drums

Nicholas Ogburn - Guitar

Valerios - Bass

During Valerios' time in Ikon, and also while working on the debut This Gentle Flow release, he was also looking for another project to further express himself as a bassist. The perfect opportunity appeared with The Unsaid. The three piece band created thick, heavy layers of instrumental music that enticed the listener to wander into a dark and intense landscape. The bands shows were generally quite intense. The band somehow once found themselves doing a gig on a train scaring the hell out of passengers on their way home from work on a Friday evening. The band were paid with Pizzas by the Arts initiative who thought this might be a good idea.

The band only recorded once and have a track 'The Insect Sleeps' on Candles and Intrigue Vol 2. Nicholas Ogburn continues to create instrumental music of high quality. His first release 'Life Is The Expression' was released on Left As In Sinister records and available in the shop of this web site.
